Central Rappahannock River Habitat for Humanity
Central Rappahannock River Habitat for Humanity serves the counties of Caroline, King & Queen, Westmoreland, Richmond, and Essex. It is a locally run, independent affiliate of Habitat International. They build homes alongside families paying affordable mortgages. With Habitat’s help and the community, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability, and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and their families.
Learn how the Self-help Method works and eligibility if it is right for you. Working with other families you build each others homes. This saves at least 20% off the cost of the home through labor savings.
We always need volunteers to help with building sites, assist with office tasks, and prepare lunches for builds, among others.
